| The
Cwmtillery Communities First Local Partnership Board comprises
members of the community and representatives of statutory agencies,
business and relevant community and voluntary bodies.
The business of the partnership is carried out by a small team
comprising a co-ordinator, community development officer and support
officer together with a youth co-ordinator (shared with Abertillery
Communities First). The team regularly hosts community volunteers and community apprentice
trainees to work with them. The team is based at offices in the Arcade
in Abertillery town centre which, whilst not actually situated in the
Cwmtillery ward, provides an accessible venue and location that can
be reached from all areas of the Cwmtillery ward. The Communities
First Info Shop in the Arcade is manned by the support officers
form the Cwmtillery and Abertillery CF partnerships
The financial and employment management of
the Cwmtillery Communities First partnership is administered by the
Co-operative Group of Great
Britain, which acts as the Grant Recipient Body (GRB) and
Management Agent (MA)
